Volunteer with Help Bristol’s Homeless

Help Bristol’s Homeless (CIC) is run and operated by volunteers, and we recognise and value the enormous contribution they make.

When you volunteer with Help Bristol’s Homeless, you will be making a significant contribution to combating homelessness and also have the opportunity to socialise with like-minded people and other volunteers.

Check out below all the ways you can get involved.

Outreach

Our weekly outreach is led by our team of volunteers and has become a lifeline for many of the street homeless in our city.

Every Thursday our outreach team hits the streets of Bristol to help the street homeless by providing them with hot meals and drinks, snacks, toiletries, clothing, sleeping bags and other essential items.
Due to the overwhelming response we receive each week for outreach volunteers; we have decided to restrict the number of volunteers to 10. By restricting the number of volunteers it enables us to properly implement our safeguarding procedures.
If you would like to get involved with our outreach service, please follow these steps:

  1. Download and complete our Volunteer Application Form
  2. Download and read our Street Outreach Guidelines
  3. Visit our Facebook Outreach Event Page and leave a comment on the date you would like to volunteer.
  4. Wait for a member of our team to confirm your attendance
  5. Meet the outreach team on the date, time and location specified in the event

*Remember – Bring your completed volunteer application form with you to the outreach event.
